If you choose to have your session outdoors, we can discuss various options for locations based on your preferences and the time of day we plan to shoot. I have several go-to spots in the Charlotte area that I have found to be particularly beautiful and photogenic, but I am always open to exploring new locations that are special to you.
Alternatively, if you choose to have your session at home, we can work together to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere that showcases the love and connection within your family. Natural light and personal elements can be used to create a warm and intimate setting that will make you feel at ease and allow for natural and candid moments to unfold.
When should I book a maternity session?
The ideal time for a maternity session is typically around 28-36 weeks of pregnancy. This is the time when your belly is nicely rounded and your pregnancy glow is at its peak. It's important to schedule your session during this time to ensure that you are comfortable and mobile enough to move around and pose for photos, but not too close to your due date in case your baby arrives earlier than expected.
It's a good idea to schedule your maternity session as early as possible to ensure availability, especially if you have a particular date or location in mind. I recommend booking your session at least 4-6 weeks in advance to allow time for planning and preparation.
